How to use an AI assistant in iMessage.
Apple Messages is already where you plan your life. This is how you put an assistant in it.
- No invite code
- Works in iMessage & WhatsApp
- Data stays in the EU
- Free to join
Short answer
You use an AI assistant in iMessage by saving it as a contact and texting it like a person. Norma works this way: no app, no shortcut, no plugin. She keeps the thread, remembers your details and replies when a task is finished.

Step by step
1. Join the list and wait for your batch. Access opens in order, a new group every Friday.
2. Save the number you get as a contact. Call it Norma.
3. Send your first message the way you would text a friend: "Book a table for four Friday around 8, somewhere near Södermalm."
4. Answer her questions. She confirms before she books anything, then tells you when it is done.
Why iMessage instead of an app
An assistant in Messages inherits everything you already have: it is on your phone, your Mac, your iPad and your watch, it is searchable, and there is no interface to learn. The thread is the record, so you can scroll back and see exactly what was asked and what happened.
How this differs from Siri and Apple Intelligence
Siri is built for the moment: timers, calls, quick facts. Apple Intelligence adds writing help and smarter summaries on the device.
Neither keeps a running list of things you asked for last week. An assistant in iMessage does: she is responsible for the outcome, not just the reply.
